New Stuff

Woo Hoo!! My new mixer is here, so I get to start baking and cooking again. I am uber excited!!

Love these - they fold away or squish together to take up less space. They are temp safe up to 650 degrees, just in case I leave them too close to the stove.

My new mixing bowls. I love the colors. Plus, they match the cups and spoons above.

Pretty sure these will be put away til next year. Not even sure I will use them, they are so cute!

Porterhouse and Mac & Cheese

I grilled some Porterhouse steaks the other night and made some macaroni & cheese. Homemade delicious bread crumbs, two different cheeses, and just delish! Hands down the best mac & cheese I have ever made. I think I could bake this in a contest and win some money!!

Potato Soup and Parmesan Popovers

I got the recipe for these parmesan popovers from Giada DeLaurentis. The secret? Do not open the oven until it is time to pull them out. It makes a huge difference.

Amanda and I made some phenomenal potato soup the other day. It took us about a month to perfect this recipe. It is so unbelievably yummy!

Ran out of flour

So, I ran out of all purpose flour and did not realize it until I was almost completely finished with my banana muffin mix. So, I exchanged the whole wheat flour I had in the cupboard. Not too bad! They look a little flatter, but they taste really good.

Little Bo Peep Has Lost Her Sheep

And here they are. I tried something new, and I love them! They took forever, but it was worth it.

Greek Food Extravaganza

Tyropita, Pastitsio, and Saganaki - YUMMO!! That's right, we went Greek on Saturday night. And, do not forget the Ouzo. It is so full of deliciousness, I am thinking we may have turned a little Greek.
